Challenge

As part of the MiSK City vision, Wadi ‘C’ required a landscape and public realm strategy that respects cultural context, promotes mobility and strengthens ecological and experiential values — shaping it as a backbone for future community, education and public life in the Irqah district.

Our Role

Place Dynamix contributed to the master planning and public realm strategy, defining landscape frameworks, movement networks, green corridors and open-space hierarchies that respond to Riyadh’s climate and urban ambitions.

Key Moves

  • Developed contextual landscape typologies rooted in the local environment
  • Designed shaded movement corridors and social space systems
  • Integrated ecological thinking with public life aspirations
  • Provided strategy for phased delivery and implementation governance

Impact

The Wadi ‘C’ framework positions the district for connected, climate-responsive living, balancing ecological sensitivity with community aspirations as part of a broader city-scale strategy in Riyadh.

This stepped landscape provides accessible routes for users while drainage provisions are also considered in the design of the landscape.
