Place Dynamix provided specialist public realm landscape design services to undertake the external design works for the art gallery and sales centre of the imminent and highly prestigious Belgrade Waterfront project by Eagle Hills.

The launch of the project was attended by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic at Geozavod, (or Cooperative Building) a renovated 1907 building that dominates the area and will house the Belgrade Art Gallery.

Challenge

As part of one of Europe’s largest waterfront urban regeneration projects, Place Dynamix contributed to landscape and public realm elements that support movement, identity and activation along the riverfront.

Our Role

Place Dynamix provided landscape inputs within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on streetscape quality, pedestrian experience and integration with the overall masterplan.

  • Integrated planting and shade elements suited to Mediterranean-continental climate influences
