Place Dynamix provided full landscape architecture services for the park’s overall design — shaping key circulation, activity zones, trails and ecological strategy.

Key Moves

• Designed 14 km of cycle tracks and 30 km of pedestrian trails woven through varied landscape settings
• Conceptualised diverse habitat experiences across 143 hectares
• Prioritised park connectivity and accessibility for all user groups

Impact

The Great Park was poised to become a landmark public space that fosters fitness, community connection, and landscape identity within Greater Dubai. Despite not being taken forward by DubaiLand, the principles behind the landscape masterplan are fundamentally relevant to all similar projects.
